In Summer 2022, Something Great will open the doors of a new house for international contemporary performing arts in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Germany - a home for independent artists from Germany, Europe and beyond.
Located in Marnitz, the main village of Ruhner Berge, a rural area that lies on either side of the border between the German states of Brandenburg and Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, this new arts centre will be housed in three buildings of a former elementary school of 1902 with over 2500 square meters of space.
It will be, first and foremost, a centre for artistic residencies open to artists from around the world, offering space for concentrated working processes and facilitating exchanges between artists, academics and wide-ranging audiences.
More information soon.
