Something Great started in 2017 as an international distribution office for performing arts based in Berlin and is today an organization with dual bases in Berlin and Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Germany, committed to championing international contemporary performing arts through multifaceted activities.
Artists: Throughout the year, we represent our associate artists, supporting them to develop new projects and tour internationally. These artists, spanning different backgrounds and generations, are known for their exceptional and thought-provoking creations that defy categorization. Each one of them, in their own way, inspires and contributes to the development of the ever-evolving international landscape of contemporary performing arts.

House: Our house is a new arts center conveniently located between Berlin and Hamburg. It serves as a workspace and venue for our artists and collection, as well as for numerous other artists and art professionals whose projects we support and present either through our house residency program or public events, include festivals and other happenings.

Collection: Our performing arts collection focuses on contemporary performance and dance and comprises acquisitions, commissions, and donations of artistic creations by international artists we've met over the years, including those we represent, both past and present. Through iterations, exhibitions, and artistic research programs, we actively preserve and promote the works in our collection while nurturing the ongoing development of artistic research behind them.
