Amanda Piña is a Chilean-Mexican-Austrian artist based in Vienna and Mexico City. Her work looks at movement as a political and social force, approached through choreography, performance, research, teaching, and publishing. She works where contemporary and traditional practices meet, and where the borders between human and animal, culture and nature are not fixed. By doing so she questions the assumptions modernity takes for granted. Her works are shown internationally across performing and visual arts contexts.
