Accomodation Details
Spring–Summer 2026
During the spring and summer residency periods, residents stay in our guest house, which includes three individual bedrooms, a shared bathroom, a shared living room, a fully equipped kitchen, and a garden. This house accommodates up to three residents free of charge.
If additional rooms are needed, we can arrange accommodation in a nearby guest house run by our neighbours, located a two-minute walk away. This house also offers three individual bedrooms, a shared kitchen and bathroom, and its own garden. The cost, charged directly by the owners, is €21 per person per night, subject to availability.
In total, up to six individual rooms can be made available across the two houses.
Larger groups in 2026 would need to be accommodated in hotels or guesthouses in nearby towns. In such cases, residents are responsible for organising their own daily transport between the accommodation and the SG Arts Centre.
Autumn–Winter 2026–27
During the autumn and winter residency periods, accommodation is provided in our guest house, which includes three individual bedrooms, a shared kitchen, a shared bathroom, and a communal living/work area.
For residencies taking place after September 2026, we expect a second SG-owned house to be renovated and available. This additional guest house will offer three more individual bedrooms, along with its own shared kitchen and bathroom. If ready as planned, this will allow us to accommodate up to six residents free of charge across our two guest houses.
If the second house is not yet available, or if additional rooms are required, further accommodation can be arranged in the neighbouring guest house. This house offers three individual bedrooms with a shared kitchen and bathroom, at €21 per person per night, subject to availability.
In total, accommodation for house residencies in 2026–27 may include:
- Up to 3 residents in individual rooms in the existing SG guest house
- Up to 6 residents across two SG guest houses (if the second house opens from September 2026)
- Up to 9 residents when including the neighbouring guest house

Utility costs contribution
Our residencies are a support-based programme. They are not a space rental service, and we do not charge fees for accommodation, workspace or the use of equipment. These are provided free of charge as part of our support for your project.
Because the utility and maintenance costs of the residencies we host are not yet funded and are currently covered solely through our own resources, we ask residents for a modest contribution toward these costs (such as electricity, heating, water and basic upkeep) for the period of their stay.
Contribution for all residency formats:
-
30 EUR per day / per group (not person)
-
60 EUR as fee for the cleaning of the guest house before your arrival and after your departure.
This contribution helps cover:
-
heating, electricity, water
-
waste management
-
maintenance and repairs
- shared facilities (house and, where applicable, the rehearsal studio)
