with me
People living in big cities usually walk in a hurry. Sandwalk with me is an urban artistic intervention that proposes citizens of big urban centres to experience the feeling of slowing down in megalopolises. Marcela Levi and Lucía Russo invite them to stroll at their city centre together with a group of other sand-walkers, wearing special shoes and damper noises headphones. Sandwalk with me is an experience that is literally lived by each one of its spectators-participants.
Sandwalk with me was developed in a first phase for the Rio Occupation London a program conceived by the Rio de Janeiro’s State Culture Secretariat produced by People’s Palace.
