Support Something Great ︎
Something Great is currently in the process of becoming a gemeinnützige Unternehmergesellschaft (gUG), a non-profit limited liability company in Germany. This transformation opens up opportunities for those eager to support us, especially for those residing in Germany, who will be able to enjoy substantial tax deductions for their donations to Something Great.
Individual donors can deduct their contributions as special expenses (Sonderausgaben) on their personal income tax returns. Similarly, corporate donors can benefit from deductions of up to 20% of their total annual income or 0.4% of their total annual sales. For donations up to 300 euros, a simple proof like a bank statement suffices. However, for larger donations, an official donation receipt (Spendenbescheinigung) is required to claim your deduction. And there's more! Donations in kind are also deductible, valued at their fair market value.
If you would like to know how to donate, please reach out to our team.
