Carpooling:
Carpooling is a flexible, affordable, and environmentally friendly way to reach us—especially if you're coming from Berlin, Hamburg, or anywhere along the A24 highway between the two cities.
Our center is conveniently located just off the A24, making it easy to use carpooling services like BlaBlaCar. If you're traveling without a car, we recommend checking BlaBlaCar or similar platforms for rides to “Suckow-Berge”—currently the closest stop to Schloss Mentin listed in the app.
If you don’t have the app yet, you can download it here:
BlaBlaBlaCar for iOS (App Store)
BlaBlaCar for Android (Google Play)
When booking, choose “Suckow-Berge” as your destination. After confirming your ride, we recommend messaging your driver to ask if they can drop you off directly at Schloss Mentin, which is just 2 minutes (2.5 km) from Suckow-Berge. Most drivers are happy to make this small detour.
Where to stay?
While additional guest accommodations are planned at the SG Arts Centre and Schloss Mentin, these are still under development and not yet available to visitors attending our events from outside the Ruhner Berge and surrounding region. Our limited on-site lodging is currently reserved for artists participating in our programs. Until the new facilities are completed, we recommend that visitors use nearby local accommodations, including hotels, guest houses, and vacation rentals in the region.
