FOLE
In FOLE, Michelle Moura breathes in and breathes out. Blows, bellows. Breath seeps in, runs through every inch of her body, grows denser, steers it, shakes it, jolts it. However, what starts with a simple breath transforms itself into a hurricane.
Shifting her feelings to modify her thinking, she attains a different perception, thereby altering her perspective, moving from the body to the mind. Inspired by post-psychedelic therapy and ritual ceremonies, among visions and dreams of war, she connects the animalistic with the mechanical: the catharsis of all the forms of violence we are exposed to and that we have been producing through time. The result is an enfolding and almost hypnotic experience, suspended in time.
