Utopia
Utopia by Diana Niepce is a durational performance that explores the tension between transgression and oppression, pushing the physical and symbolic limits of the body. Through raw, visceral movement, the piece examines the objectification of the body and its role in society, questioning imposed norms and the structures that seek to control it.

The performance unfolds as an evolving landscape where bodies are reconstructed, deconstructed, and reimagined. Drawing from personal and collective histories, Utopia navigates themes of autonomy, resistance, and the desire to break free from restrictive representations. The choreography embraces contradiction—both violent and poetic, erotic and unsettling—inviting the audience into an immersive experience where time itself becomes an active force, reshaping perception and meaning.

Blurring the boundaries between endurance, transformation, and the politics of representation, Utopia challenges viewers to witness the body not as a fixed entity, but as a site of constant negotiation and reinvention.
