Founded in 2016 by Egyptian choreographers and artists Noura Seif Hassanein and Salma Abdel Salam, nasa4nasa is a Cairo-based dance collective. Their creations, designed to be both playful and thought-provoking, use static imagery to explore concepts of form, aesthetics, and value. Through elements of chance and repetition, they delve into themes such as failure, affect, vanity, and boredom. nasa4nasa envisions alternative spaces as platforms for artistic expression and actively engage with and occasionally disrupt daily virtual mass consumption through social media.
